One tap per row
The counter fills most of the screen, so you can tap it without looking up from the needles. Undo the last tap from the same screen, or hold the counter to set an exact number. The count is the rows you have finished. If you think in "the row I'm on", a setting shows that number instead, on the counter and the lock screen alike.
Repeats on their own counter
Add up to two more counters, say for a cable cross every 8 rows or a 4-row lace repeat. Link one to the main count and it moves on its own when a repeat finishes. You keep both numbers without doing the arithmetic in your head.
Your pattern, beside the count
Open the PDF you bought, or a photo of a paper chart. A bar marks the row you are on; drag it, or step it down one row at a time. For colourwork charts you can add a second, vertical line to mark the column. Write a note on the page, or mark it up with a pen or highlighter. Everything you add stays aligned when you zoom.
On the lock screen
On iPhone, the count stays on the lock screen while you work, and the Dynamic Island has a +1 once the phone is unlocked. On Android, the notification shows the count with a +1 button.
How long the project took
Rowloft estimates the time you spent from the gaps between your taps, and shows it on the project and when you finish. It is an estimate: a long pause counts as a break.
Your projects stay on your phone
There is no account. Your projects, counts and patterns are stored on the phone. You can export everything as a file and restore it on a new phone.
Your first project is free to try. If you want more than one project, Pro is a single purchase.
